Lanie pursued her academic journey at Appalachian State University for her graduate studies and the University of North Carolina at Asheville for her undergraduate degree. Despite her professional ventures, she remains rooted in the picturesque mountains of North Carolina, where she resides with her partner and two beloved fur companions. Embracing the vibrant local culture, Lanie spends her leisure indulging in trail running adventures that rival most road trips in distance.
